About the Role

Agoda is seeking an AI Conversational Designer to shape the behavior, flow, and quality of its Chatbot assistant. This role focuses on designing scalable, high-quality conversational experiences for AI products and sits at the intersection of conversation design, UX, and content strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Conversational Experience: Design and evolve flows, define context gathering, and manage dialog progression.
• Tone and Behavior: Set and maintain the assistant’s tone of voice to align with Agoda’s brand.
• AI and Experimentation: Guide LLM behavior through pattern design, run A/B tests, and iterate using data insights.
• Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Designers, Engineering, and Content teams to ensure technical and conversational alignment.
• Enablement: Create artifacts like conversation flows, pattern libraries, and example dialogs to support internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in conversation or interaction design, with prompt engineering expertise.
• A strong ability to design multi-turn, goal-oriented conversational experiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity and strong systems thinking.
• Collaborative experience with UX designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Experience working on chatbots, assistants, or AI-driven products; service design background is a plus.
