About The Role
The AI Conversational Designer is responsible for shaping the behavior, flow, and quality of Agoda’s Chatbot assistant. This role focuses on designing scalable, high-quality conversational experiences at the intersection of conversation design, UX, and content strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Conversational Experience: Design and evolve conversational flows, define context gathering, and establish depth, pacing, and progression.
- Tone and Behavior: Define and maintain the assistant’s tone of voice aligned with Agoda’s brand and ensure consistency across new features.
- AI and Experimentation: Guide LLM behavior using conversational patterns, run experiments, and iterate using data feedback.
- Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Designers, Content teams, Branding, and Engineering to align intents with technical capabilities.
- Enablement: Create conversation flows, pattern libraries, and example dialogs to support other designers.
What We’re Looking For
Required experience includes conversation design, prompt engineering, and designing multi-turn, goal-oriented conversational experiences. Familiarity with UX design, product management, and engineering collaboration is important. Bonus points for those with experience in tone of voice or behavioral principle definition at scale.
