Contract Project Manager at Agilyx Group

As a Contract Project Manager, you will be crucial in bringing project visions to life within our delivery space. You'll work closely with Implementation Consultants and customers, ensuring projects remain on scope, on time, and within budget.

About The Role

This role is responsible for supporting Agilyx customers through the full project lifecycle, from initial sales engagement to handover to Customer Support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with resource and project schedules during the presales process.
  • Developing the Project Initiation Document (PID)/Project Management Plan (PMP) and defining work packages during project initiation.
  • Planning and managing the end-to-end delivery of projects across all Agilyx products.
  • Managing customer expectations and communicating the status of issues and impacts to relevant client sponsors and process owners.
  • Adhering to processes outlined in the Agilyx Implementation Methodology.
  • Contributing to the development of processes and documentation for the Professional Services Team.
  • Identifying and communicating business development opportunities with new and existing clients.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of implementation management experience is preferable.
  • A background in finance or technology-based projects is preferable.
  • Minimum involvement in 2 full ERP life cycle projects is preferable.
  • Solid understanding of business processes.
  • PRINCE2 / PMP training preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused approach, taking full accountability for outcome delivery.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Very high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and build confidence with clients and colleagues.

Location

This is a remote-first role based in New Zealand, with possible travel to Wellington. The contract hours will vary depending on the client's needs, but an ongoing arrangement is anticipated.
