Position Overview

The AI Agent Engineer is a key individual contributor role working cross-functionally to design, deploy, and manage AI agents across Agiloft’s operations. The role is responsible for integrating AI agents safely into enterprise workflows, monitoring their performance and compliance, and continuously optimizing them to deliver measurable business value.

Job Responsibilities

  • AI Agent Design & Deployment: Develop, deploy, and maintain AI agents that enhance enterprise workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify use cases, prototype, test, and iterate on agent-driven workflows.
  • Oversight & Performance Management: Monitor deployed agents for consistent performance against KPIs, establish feedback loops, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ecosystem & Workflow Integration: Partner with internal teams to design and evolve Agiloft’s AI agent ecosystem and integrate agents with enterprise systems using APIs.
  • Strategy & Thought Leadership: Contribute to Agiloft's AI adoption vision, share best practices, and advise on safe, compliant AI deployments.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years experience in AI/ML development, automation, or enterprise systems integration; at least 2 years hands-on experience with AI agents; strong proficiency in Python, APIs, and agent orchestration platforms; familiarity with enterprise compliance and governance; and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in multi-agent frameworks, reinforcement learning, and SaaS environments. Advanced degrees in relevant technical fields and a passion for innovative AI deployment are advantageous.
