About the Role
The Internal Tools & Automation Engineer at AgileMD builds integrations and automations that connect diverse systems, streamline workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks. This role is key to maintaining smooth internal operations while fueling growth and technical leadership for future advancement.
Responsibilities
In the first 6–12 months you will:
- Build integrations, scripts, and automations connecting systems like Jira and finance tools.
- Design lightweight internal applications using SQL, low-code frameworks, or scripts.
- Partner with business teams to scope needs and deliver flexible solutions.
- Develop company-level dashboards consolidating data from multiple sources.
- Implement workflow automations using AI-powered tools.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- 3–5+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Proficient in Python scripting; Bash or equivalent is a plus.
- Expert SQL skills with practical database experience.
- Experience building and deploying system integrations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and deployment practices.
- Knowledge of workflow automation and low-code platforms.
- Comfortable configuring tools like Jira, HubSpot, and Slack.
- Curious, resourceful, and collaborative in bridging business and technical needs.
- Enthusiastic about AI-powered workflow automation.
