Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in systems design, administration, and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server technologies (including Exchange, RDS, SQL, IIS), and cloud platforms such as Azure, Office 365, AWS, Google Cloud, and G-Suite is essential. Candidates must demonstrate confidence in diagnosing, repairing, and installing server and network systems, with in-depth experience in virtualization technologies like VMWare, Nutanix, and SANs. A solid understanding of networking protocols and devices, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP (Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall), is required. Familiarity with RMM tools (NinjaONE, Kaseya, Connectwise) and PSA ticketing solutions (Autotask, Connectwise) is highly preferred. Certifications such as MCSA Server, MCSE, Cisco, Fortinet, VMWare, Nutanix, or equivalent are advantageous. Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to continuous learning are critical for success in this role.
