About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise cloud environments that support mission-critical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions, automate deployment processes, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps, containerization, and serverless architectures, with a proven track record of delivering complex cloud projects in enterprise settings.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in the design and implementation of large enterprise public cloud environments, specifically AWS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, including GitLab CI and AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Developer, or Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing models.
- Knowledge of data streaming technologies including Kafka and Kinesis.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management and delivery.
- Deep understanding of AWS security best practices, VPC configurations, and Landing Zone setup.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, or SAM.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or REST APIs.
- Strong monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting skills using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools to automate deployment processes.
