About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power our innovative recruitment platform. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional backend development experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
- At least 3 years of hands-on PHP development experience, with a strong portfolio of production-level projects.
- Deep understanding of MySQL, including relational database design, query optimization, and database management.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and database schemas using PHP and MySQL to support platform features.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Participate in architectural decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations for technical improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize database schemas and queries to enhance system performance, especially under high traffic conditions.
- Develop and execute unit tests, debug issues, and troubleshoot problems in both development and production environments.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard data and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain version control using Git, and contribute to comprehensive technical documentation.
