About The Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic, remote team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a highly scalable, proprietary platform that supports complex clinical workflows and manages petabytes of genomic data. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications that enhance the platform's capabilities and user experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, scientists, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions that directly influence healthcare and scientific research. Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least three years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular is essential. A solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance is required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate complex requirements into technical solutions. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, over five years of experience, and familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes is also highly desirable, as is a passion for creating high-quality, user-centric software applications.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications and platform features using Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular. You will optimize data models utilizing relational and NoSQL databases to ensure high performance and scalability. Developing intuitive user interfaces and seamless end-to-end workflows will be a key focus, ensuring a smooth user experience. You will work closely with product managers, scientists, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet project goals. Participation in architecture discussions and initiatives to improve system scalability, reliability, and performance will be expected. Additionally, you will support the entire software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, all within a distributed systems environment that emphasizes high availability and fault tolerance.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $75–$85, with a 12+ month contract duration that may be extended based on project needs.
