About The Role

We are building a dedicated talent pool for Data Engineers, focusing on professionals with a strong foundation in data modeling, schema design, and SQL expertise. This pipeline role is designed for engineers eager to work on a modern data stack, including tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, and data visualization platforms like Looker, Superset, or HEX. Your primary responsibility will be to transform raw production data into analytics-ready formats, create organized data marts tailored to various business needs, and develop semantic layers optimized for AI and large language model querying. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects, supporting analytics, decision-making, and product insights across diverse industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, build scalable data workflows, and contribute to innovative AI-driven solutions, making a tangible impact on business outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SQL and data modeling, demonstrating a solid understanding of schema design and data transformation techniques. Proficiency with modern data tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, and visualization platforms like Looker, Superset, or HEX is essential. Strong Python skills are required for building data workflows, automations, and transformations. Bonus points are awarded for experience with large language model prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or related AI tools. Candidates should exhibit problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal—and a business-minded approach focused on outcomes, value, and impact. A background in consumer tech or SaaS environments is considered advantageous, along with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw production data into analytics-ready formats, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Create and maintain data marts organized by business use cases and data origin to facilitate efficient analytics and reporting.
• Develop AI-ready semantic layers to enable large language models (LLMs) for querying and insights generation.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Airflow and Snowflake, automating workflows for continuous data integration.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support analytics and decision-making.
• Optimize data models for performance, reliability, and scalability across the data stack.
• Stay updated with emerging AI and data engineering trends, integrating innovative tools and techniques into existing workflows.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team to promote data literacy and operational excellence.
