We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing our enterprise cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on AWS services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet our clients' needs. Due to current operational requirements, this position is initially remote, with the possibility of transitioning to a fully onsite role in South Carolina. Candidates must be prepared to relocate promptly if necessary, and the first two days will involve onsite training and security badge acquisition. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications
- Minimum of 6+ years supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS development or administration.
- Proficiency with core AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda for a minimum of 3 years.
- Experience with Amazon Connect and/or other contact center technologies for 3+ years.
- Strong background in integrating APIs, serverless functions, and utilizing cloud-native services.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for at least 3 years.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, logging, and monitoring within AWS environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging AWS core services.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code tools to ensure efficient and repeatable deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, serverless functions, and third-party services to meet business requirements.
- Implement security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, and compliance monitoring.
- Lead efforts in cost optimization, resource management, and FinOps initiatives to maximize cloud investments.
- Support and maintain Amazon Connect and contact center technologies, ensuring seamless customer engagement solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management to address operational issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve cloud architecture and operations.
