About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team at Simera. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for mobile technology, demonstrate proficiency in writing clean and efficient code, and have a knack for collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience and functionality of our mobile products, helping us deliver innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have proven experience as an Android Developer, with published applications available on the Google Play Store. Proficiency in Java and Kotlin is essential, along with a solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools. Candidates should have experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries. A strong grasp of Android UI/UX design principles, including Material Design, is required. Knowledge of databases such as SQLite and Room, as well as offline storage solutions, is important. Familiarity with Git for version control is also necessary. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is expected.
