Position Overview

The Contracts Manager role at Agile Space Industries oversees the full lifecycle of government and commercial contract management. This includes managing prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, purchasing activities, and proposal support. The role requires solid experience with FAR/DFARS, direct collaboration with technical, legal, and finance teams, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contracts Management: Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, modifications, and subcontracts.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation, issuance of purchase orders and master agreements.
  • Compliance: Interpret FAR/DFARS, ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Proposal & Purchasing Support: Assist Proposal Manager, conduct price analysis, vendor evaluation.
  • Process Improvement: Develop contract templates, streamline sourcing processes, and maintain audit-ready files.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years in contract management with both government and commercial experience.
  • Proven understanding of contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, OTA) and federal acquisition regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with small business procurement practices.
  • Knowledge of DCAA/DCMA audits and contractor purchasing systems.
  • NCMA Certification (CPCM or CFCM) and aerospace/defense sector experience.
  • Familiarity with procurement/ERP systems and export control regulations.
