Position Summary

The Regional Medicare Sales Manager will lead Medicare growth efforts within an assigned region. You will manage your market by building and executing growth strategies, recruiting high-performing agents and agencies, and driving production across multiple carriers. You will also gather and analyze competition, carrier, and market intelligence to guide strategic planning and support content creation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional Medicare growth strategy.
  • Identify market-specific opportunities and local trends.
  • Gather, analyze, and share market and competitive intelligence.
  • Recruit, contract, and onboard independent agents and agencies.
  • Deliver Medicare-focused onboarding, sales training, and CMS compliance education.
  • Manage relationships with regional brokers and deliver business development support.
  • Track, analyze, and report agent performance data.
  • Lead regional webinars, in-person training, and field engagement.
  • Coordinate with national sales leadership, marketing, and carrier reps.
  • Stay current on CMS regulations, carrier updates, and market dynamics.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; Active Life & Health license with Medicare certification; Entrepreneurial mindset; Tech-savvy using CRMs and virtual training platforms; Ability to mentor and coach agents.

Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of Medicare sales or FMO/IMO leadership experience; Proven success in building sales strategies; Strong agent recruiting and performance management skills; Active Health insurance license; In-depth knowledge of Medicare products; Highly organized and self-directed; Willingness to travel.
