Role Overview

The Senior Technical Program Manager at Affirm will oversee high visibility programs and streamline processes for building great customer and merchant products. As products scale in complexity, you will help Product and Engineering teams develop processes and frameworks for building quality software and evaluating new technology trends.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible technical programs.
  • Coordinate with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders across the full program lifecycle.
  • Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose alternatives.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to plan requirements and manage program schedules.
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to management.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs.
  • Strong passion to change consumer finance for the better.
  • Organized, strategic approach and strong stakeholder management.
  • Experience in FinTech, Payments, or Commerce is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a competitive base pay within the range of $125,000 to $175,000 per year along with equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and comprehensive benefits including 100% subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Work Arrangement

Affirm is a remote-first company. Though predominantly remote, occasional visits to an assigned office may be required.
