Role Overview

The Analyst II Fraud Analytics at Affirm will be part of the Fraud Strategy & Analytics team, driving improvements in Trust and Safety online decisioning strategy and user journeys. The candidate should have a sharp analytical mindset, strong business intuition, and a collaborative spirit.

What You’ll Do

  • Explore data to accelerate product development and improve products in Trust and Safety.
  • Translate analysis into recommendations for enhancing identity and fraud conversion rates.
  • Develop frameworks for tiered cutoffs for proprietary fraud machine learning models.
  • Evaluate innovative data sources and partner with data engineering to maintain data pipelines.
  • Own end-to-end analytics workflow and create actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning, Product, and Engineering teams to drive user acquisition and retention.

What We Look For

  • 2-4 years of experience in customer risk management at a financial company.
  • Technical skills in SQL and Python (or R) with deep analytical expertise.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for understanding and improving product effectiveness.
  • Knowledge in payment processing and risk strategy development.
