ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst at Affinity

Our client is actively seeking an experienced ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting quality assurance activities across an enterprise ServiceNow platform. This position will primarily involve manual testing, with opportunities to contribute to automated testing, ensuring all ServiceNow configurations, workflows, integrations, and modules align perfectly with business, technical, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for ServiceNow enhancements, configurations, and integrations.
  • Support and contribute to automated testing initiatives, specifically for regression and repeatable test scenarios.
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, forms, scripts, and integrations against documented requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration testing, and provide user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
  • Identify, meticulously document, and track defects from discovery through resolution, collaborating closely with developers and delivery teams.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts to ensure all requirements are testable and clearly understood.
  • Ensure that all testing activities adhere to enterprise quality standards and release management processes.
  • Support the creation of comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution results.

ServiceNow Modules

Experience testing one or more of the following ServiceNow module groupings is a mandatory requirement for this role:

  • Finance and Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
  • Service Catalog and Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Data and Enterprise Common Platform (ECP)
  • Security Incident Response (SIR)
  • Customer Service Business Case (CSBC)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience as a ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst, with a strong emphasis on manual testing and some exposure to automated testing practices.
  • Proven hands-on experience testing ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and integrations.
  • Demonstrable experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules, especially those listed above.
  • Strong understanding of core Quality Assurance methodologies, test case design principles, and effective defect management processes.
  • Experience thriving in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
