Overview
Affidea UK & Ireland, part of one of Europe’s most successful diagnostic imaging companies, is looking for a Referral Liaison Administrator. This role is the first point of contact for referrers and is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency between referring doctors, radiologists, and various administrative teams.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Answer dedicated referrer calls and be the initial contact.
- Respond to faxes and emails in a timely manner.
- Manage concerns from doctors and their practices.
- Collaborate with Radiologist group to resolve administrative issues.
- Coordinate with RIS PACS Team, Medical Director, and CSMA.
- Ensure high priority reports are managed and documented.
- Assist the Client Relationship team with priority report requests.
- Liaise with multiple departments regarding report queries and data management.
- Administer the Referrers Portal and monitor failed faxes.
- Manage and update the referrer database.
- Monitor radiologist worklist to maintain reporting within 48 working hours.
- Oversee reporting consoles and co-ordinate with clinical staff.
- Manage the REVIEW LIST including various report-related tasks.
- Handle radiology report complaints per company procedure.
- Maintain the Referrer Log with all relevant entries.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Leaving Certificate, strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), and fluent English (oral and written). Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
