Job Description

Within the Technical Directorate, reporting to the Radio Frequency (RF) Sensors department, you will be responsible for managing and developing the data link service. This service, comprising about ten employees, brings together complementary expertise: system architectures, equipment project management, and performance studies, at the heart of the design and development of data link systems for our missiles. Interfacing with numerous stakeholders, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment, in close collaboration with project teams, engineering entities, and leading external partners (European manufacturers, state organizations, and research centers). You will contribute directly to strategic and structuring subjects, in line with current and future challenges of embedded communication systems. In this role, you will:

  • Guarantee the service's commitments (workload/resources, costs, deadlines, performance) in line with project needs.
  • Supervise the activities of system architects and equipment managers, ensuring technical consistency and adherence to milestones.
  • Lead the service's technical dynamic, validating work performed and structuring decision-making.
  • Develop synergies between programs and ensure proper consideration of data link challenges within projects and integration activities.
  • Contribute to the development of skills and the maturity of the profession by defining technical roadmaps and identifying innovation areas.
  • Initiate and manage technical partnerships with external stakeholders (ONERA, CEA Tech...), and contribute to the preparation of future solutions in conjunction with anticipation teams.
  • Provide close management of your team: support career development, skill enhancement, resource management, and participation in recruitment.

You will thus play a key role in structuring the profession, project performance, and preparing future capabilities.

Our compensation includes a fixed salary and additional individual elements (a variable part for our executives and an seniority bonus and an annual bonus for our non-executives) or collective elements depending on company performance and results (profit sharing, incentive pay). Numerous services/benefits are also offered: company restaurant, employee savings plans (PEG, PERCOL), social protection (health and provident insurance), works council, internal infirmary, and occupational health service...
