Position Summary
The CNC Lathe Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC equipment.
Essential Functions
- Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets, and operation sheets.
- Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary.
- Accurately inspect work using various measurement instruments.
- Perform daily TPM responsibilities.
- Maintain good housekeeping on machines and work area.
- Comply with all company and safety rules; use required PPE.
- Participate in cross-training, cost savings, and team improvement activities.
- Maintain tact and diplomacy with coworkers, team members, and supervisors.

Experience and Education
At least 5 years of aerospace CNC machining experience is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certificate is a plus.
Physical Demands
The role involves frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, regular standing, and manual handling. Specific vision abilities and physical movements including bending and reaching are required.

Compensation
Compensation is hourly, ranging from $40,000 to $100,000 per year depending on experience, with adjustments available for overtime and shift differentials.
