Overview

The Specialist Enterprise Architect at Aegon will lead WFG's digital transformation by designing modern, scalable architectures that drive an agent-centric business model and support growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead digital excellence transformation and optimize agent experience.
  • Architect SaaS-first and API-first integration strategies with platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Design scalable backend services using .NET 8+, React/TypeScript frontends, and Python for analytics.
  • Implement event-driven architectures with AWS services including EventBridge, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
  • Establish security-by-design patterns and compliance automation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and mentor development teams on best practices.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field alongside substantial experience in enterprise architecture, cloud-native design, and data-driven solutions. Proven leadership in communicating complex technical strategies and roadmaps is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree and advanced experience in the financial services industry. Deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem, advanced front-end skills, Python data science, and integration with modern analytics and AI/ML platforms.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid role with work locations in Denver, Cedar Rapids, and Philadelphia. Moderate travel is expected.

Compensation

Annual salary is estimated between $170,000 and $190,000, plus potential bonus based on individual performance.
