Overview
The Lead Strategic Procurement Advisor operates independently while ensuring procurement is executed in accordance with the established procurement governance framework and divisional objectives. This role partners with the Manager of Sourcing to provide end-to-end category procurement, commodity sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management support.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and implement category procurement and commodity sourcing strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute local or global strategies.
- Develop RFx proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
- Partner with Divisional Leadership to foster effective supplier relationships.
- Interpret supplier contracts and manage contract amendments.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across Sourcing & Procurement.
- May supervise staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management. Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage ambiguous situations, influence others, and drive change.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with global supply chains, shared services environments, financial services, technology categories, and electronic procurement tools.
Working Conditions & Compensation
This position operates in a hybrid work environment with an annual salary generally ranging between $100,000 and $120,000, plus potential eligibility for an Annual Bonus based on company and individual performance.
