Financial Analyst

Overview

The Financial Analyst role at Aegon performs accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions. The role involves applying financial analysis knowledge and judgment to routine activities.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial data from various accounting systems.
• Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data.
• Test and verify information based on accounting knowledge.
• Respond to management and department requests.
• Participate in monthly accounting processes ensuring accuracy.
• Update financial reports/models for forecasting and trending.
• Support client reporting on performance and compensation.
• Assist on project team work and documentation updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience with up to 2 years experience and advanced computer skills. Working knowledge of financial areas such as investments, insurance products, and premium is preferred.

Working Conditions & Location

Hybrid work arrangement (in-office Tuesday - Thursday) in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment located in Cedar Rapids, IA.
