Core Application Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our experienced core application development team at Aegon as a Core Application Manager. In this role, you will design, code, test, modify, and implement our core application while liaising with development managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, tune, and administer the LifePRO application.
• Work in an Agile environment using Github and JIRA.
• Write and implement clean, scalable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and verify software systems.
• Deploy software and integrate back-end web services and databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience with a focus in LifePRO.
• Extensive knowledge in C#.NET, COBOL, GitHub, and SQL.
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
