Senior Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and implementing category procurement and commodity sourcing strategies that align with our company's strategic plans. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute local or global strategies across a diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement category procurement and commodity sourcing strategies.
• Develop and execute local or global strategies covering categories and commodities.
• Support the sourcing and supplier management program, including RFx proposals, evaluation, negotiation, and supplier monitoring.
• Partner with Divisional Leadership to develop effective supplier relationships, ensuring high performance and competitive pricing.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, driving a two-way exchange of information.
• Negotiate contract provisions and draft complex contract language, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Interpret supplier contracts, participate in change negotiations, and monitor contractual obligations.
• Monitor supplier performance and facilitate communication to meet business expectations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within Sourcing & Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology category procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management.
• Proven experience in supplier identification, selection, and negotiation for technology suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, particularly in procurement or technology.
• Knowledge of supplier management best practices and industry trends.
• Exceptional written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, with a balance of assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to lead difficult conversations and achieve consensus among stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively and build strong relationships across all organizational levels and with external parties.
• Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Capacity to manage ambiguous situations and drive towards clarification.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive change.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to succeed under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and support activities.
