Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Drainage Engineer to join our team located in Phoenix, Murray, and Denver, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of drainage systems for transportation infrastructure projects, including a flagship Progressive Design Build project at the I84 & US 89 interchange.
- Design and analysis of drainage systems for highways and roads.
- Conduct hydraulic/hydrologic analyses using advanced modeling software.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and manage project budgets and schedules.
Qualifications
A minimum of a BA/BS in Civil Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for candidates that are Professional Engineers and have 6 years of related experience. Familiarity with design software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD) is essential.
