Position: Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer

Based in Los Angeles, CA, this role supports various geotechnical projects from planning to construction. Key responsibilities include project management, business development, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop field exploration programs for soil and rock testing.
  • Supervise geotechnical design and construction inspections.
  • Oversee design parameter development and geotechnical submissions.
  • Utilize GeoStudio Suite, LPILE, GROUP, and other software tools.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS in related engineering field with 6+ years of experience. Must have or be able to obtain a California PE license. Preferred candidates possess over 10 years of local project experience, strong transportation background, and familiarity with FLAC 9.0 2D/3D Software.
