Job Overview
The Principal Engineer Electrical Building Engineering will join the B+P team in India, contributing technical expertise on global B+P projects while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical advisor.
- Provide specialized input on design and studies.
- Develop study procedures and cost estimates.
- Perform quality control on design calculations and drawings.
- Prepare technical specification sections and ensure code compliance.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex electrical challenges.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Represent AECOM in technical forums and industry conferences.
Qualifications
- Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
- 10-16 years of design experience in ME and/or UK projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in software such as Amtech, Electrical OM, Dialux, AGi32, Revit, Navis, AutoCAD.
- Awareness of BS, American standards and regional regulations.
- Post graduation and accreditation (IEng or CEng) preferred.
