Job Overview
AECOM is seeking a talented Program / Project Manager to support our Environmental business line, focusing on federal environmental remediation projects. This role may be remote for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct professional and technical staff for complex environmental projects.
- Lead teams leveraging advanced scientific principles and technologies.
- Develop technical solutions and competitive pricing for programs under FFP or CPFF contracts.
- Conduct data analysis and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain regulator and stakeholder communications and negotiations.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in an engineering, environmental, or earth science field with 10 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in senior leadership.
- Proven experience managing federal projects.
- Preferred professional licenses such as PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar.
- Experience with environmental remediation projects, specifically with soil, groundwater, surface water, sediments, PFAS, and munitions.
- Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA and proven proposal-writing skills.
