Role Overview – Construction Project Manager

This role supports multiple construction projects for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. You will coordinate with Project Managers, designers, and end users to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases from pre-construction to close-out.
• Review pre-construction documents and submit designer comments.
• Plan and prepare status reports for upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies and project staff.
• Manage project budget, schedule, and contractor change orders.
• Oversee contractor, architect, and engineer payments.
• Administer professional service agreements and delivery of fixtures.
• Monitor close-out process and project certification.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 4+ years in construction or equivalent experience.
• Pass state and federal background checks and drug screen.
• Preferred: Degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience with commercial and public/educational facility construction.
• Knowledge of Florida DOE regulations and OSHA safety guidelines.
