Role Overview – Construction Project Manager
This role supports multiple construction projects for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. You will coordinate with Project Managers, designers, and end users to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases from pre-construction to close-out.
- Review pre-construction documents and submit designer comments.
- Plan and prepare status reports for upper management.
- Coordinate with public agencies and project staff.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and contractor change orders.
- Oversee contractor, architect, and engineer payments.
- Administer professional service agreements and delivery of fixtures.
- Monitor close-out process and project certification.
Qualifications
- BA/BS and 4+ years in construction or equivalent experience.
- Pass state and federal background checks and drug screen.
- Preferred: Degree in engineering or construction management.
- Experience with commercial and public/educational facility construction.
- Knowledge of Florida DOE regulations and OSHA safety guidelines.
