Job Overview: Senior Fire Protection Engineer
This role is based in the Orange, CA office and plays a lead role in the design, testing, and inspection of fire protection and life safety systems. You will be the senior technical resource providing expert guidance and developing procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and special suppression systems.
- Develop life safety code compliance plans and permit documents.
- Advise project teams on complex fire protection challenges.
- Review design calculations and technical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and cost estimates.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering along with 6+ years of relevant experience is required. A Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is necessary. Preferred candidates have 8+ years experience and a Master’s degree.
Work Environment & Additional Information
