Job Description

AECOM seeks a Senior Civil Engineering Specialist to join our Environmental Remediation team in Franklin, TN. This role involves working with a diverse team to deliver design, reporting, cost estimates, and client liaison for environmental remediation and coal ash closure projects. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with project managers, and ensure project quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Remediation team and project managers.
• Handle project delivery, design, scheduling, and client communications.
• Prepare designs, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Utilize CAD applications, preferably Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Identify process improvements and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 6+ years of related experience or equivalent. Candidates should have extensive remediation project experience and management background. A valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of relevant experience, experience on large scale engineering projects, and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification.
