Job Overview

As a Roadway/Transportation Drainage Design Engineer at AECOM, based in our Chicago, IL office, you will lead drainage designs on transportation projects, conduct hydraulic and scour analyses, and coordinate with multiple disciplines and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Roadway drainage design
  • Bridge/culvert hydraulic analyses
  • Scour analysis, erosion and sedimentation control
  • Plan production and development of bid sets
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and obtain permits

Qualifications

Minimum BA/BS and 6+ years of experience or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, prior drainage design and geometric design experience, IL PE License, and familiarity with design software such as GeoPak, SWMM, HY-8, HEC, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
