Technical Support Engineer

What You'll Do

  • Operate as the first interface with Adyen’s global merchants.
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams.
  • Advise merchants on integration, expansion, and operations.
  • Be a key source of knowledge on the Adyen platform, APIs, and web-stack technologies.
  • Advocate internally and provide feedback on product performance.

Who You Are

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Java, and scripting.
  • Self-driven, flexible, and productive with minimal supervision.
  • Able to quickly make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000. This full time position is based in our Chicago office and requires in-person collaboration, with occasional holiday or weekend work for business continuity.
