Scheduling Coordinator Overview
The Scheduling Coordinator provides administrative support to the Scheduling Manager. They assist closers and notaries, travel to Advocus offices, and facilitate communication among multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Schedule signing appointments for direct and agency files for closing.
- Process lender packages and attach them to files.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
- Forward lender and attorney requests to the appropriate departments.
- Act as a liaison between closers, lenders, members, and Advocus staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a basic understanding of closing issues, Advocus procedures, and underwriting guidelines. Strong customer service, telephone and email etiquette, and excellent organizational skills are required. Attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with title production software such as Ramquest, ResWare, Qualia, and Soft Pro is a plus. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work overtime when needed are required.
Minimum Educational Requirements
A high school diploma is required; however, a four-year degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. At least one year of title insurance and customer service experience is necessary.
