Revenue Recovery Associate
Adventist Health, a faith-based, nonprofit, integrated health system, is seeking a Revenue Recovery Associate to join our corporate headquarters team in Roseville, California. As a Revenue Recovery Associate, you will play a crucial role in entering patient/client billing into our software, working on routine assignments within established guidelines.
Job Summary
The Revenue Recovery Associate enters patient/client billing into provided software. This role works on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines, and precedents, following established procedures and receiving daily instructions.
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Education/GED or equivalent (Preferred). Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Preferred).
- Experience: Data entry billing experience (Preferred). Revenue cycle billing/collections/reimbursement experience (Preferred).
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification through HFMA (Preferred).
Essential Functions
- Provides effective communication amongst all team members regarding claim creation errors.
- Applies developing/basic working knowledge and experience to the job.
- Verifies accuracy of data, compiles data, and translates information into multiple formats.
- Ensures accurate submission of client claims.
- Reviews daily collections and monthly reporting, as well as recommendations for billing audits.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
