The Role

This position involves performing pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory procedures on human specimens. Tasks include equipment maintenance, specimen processing, quality control, and reporting of test results in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various laboratory tests and analytical procedures accurately
  • Conduct equipment function checks, inventory control, and specimen collection
  • Provide orientation and training to new employees and students
  • Maintain quality control and adhere to federal and state regulations
  • Participate in customer service and resolve issues within guidelines

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid license from American Medical Technologists or American Society for Clinical Pathology
