Security Patrol Driver (Armed/Unarmed)
Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking vigilant and observant individuals for our Security Patrol Driver positions. We serve clients across Denver, Northern Colorado, and Colorado Springs, ensuring safety and peace of mind through premier security services. About the Role
As a Patrol Security team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of client sites, including apartments, developments, hospitals, schools, labs, and businesses. Through roving and foot patrols, you will ensure the safety and security of communities during all hours of operation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. While previous law enforcement or security experience is preferred, training will be provided to ideal candidates.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Conducting patrols (vehicle and foot) to detect and deter suspicious activity.
- Following established protocols and responding promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Collaborating professionally with emergency response teams.
- Maintaining a command presence in uniform and with appropriate PPE.
- Staying knowledgeable of all security orders, directives, and procedures.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral comprehension).
- Neat, well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
- Ability to meet special qualifications for specific posts.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21 years for armed roles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Denver Guard Card.
- Capable of driving, sitting, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility in scheduling for overnight, day, or swing shifts, including weekends and holidays.
