About The Role
Advance Delivery Consulting is seeking a Junior or Mid-level Data Analyst to join our team, working with one of Australia's largest companies based in Sydney CBD/Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to analyze master data sets, troubleshoot data issues, and present findings to business and management teams. You will leverage your strong analytical skills and expertise in popular data analysis tools and databases, including extensive experience in ETL development using Informatica.
Job Description
- Develop expertise in SQL for data profiling.
- Analyze, profile, and systematically present data for business and management understanding.
- Perform ETL development and Data Migration tasks.
- Interpret the functional and reporting aspects of data.
- Present data to business stakeholders, highlighting scope, data gaps, and issues from the source.
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Solution, Technical) to define business needs.
- Document data mapping rules for migration.
Skills and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Development (Junior Role).
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Development (Mid Role).
- Proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing.
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to critically evaluate information, resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and prioritize decisions.
- Client-facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Experience in Health Cover and insurance domain is desirable but not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in the IT industry is mandatory.
- Certification in Relevant Technologies is preferred.
