About The Role
As a Data Analyst at Advance Delivery Consulting, you will engage with one of Australia's largest companies, based in Sydney CBD or Melbourne. This role challenges you to take ownership of analyzing master datasets and resolving complex data issues. Success requires an exceptional eye for detail, prior data analysis experience, and a strong command of popular data analysis tools and databases. Furthermore, the position demands extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica.
Job Description
- Expertise in SQL skills to profile data effectively.
- Analyze, profile, and systematically present data for clear business and management team understanding.
- Perform ETL development and Data Migration tasks.
- Interpret the functional and reporting aspects of data.
- Present data to business stakeholders and consumers, clearly outlining scope and highlighting data gaps/issues from the source.
- Identify patterns and trends within large data sets.
- Collaborate closely with various business teams, Solution teams, or Technical teams to define and establish business needs.
- Document comprehensive data mapping rules for migration processes.
Key Skills and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Development (for Junior role).
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Development (for Mid role).
- Solid consulting capabilities across SSIS and SSRS.
- Expertise in data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and critically evaluate information, resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and make priority decisions.
- Client-facing experience is ideal, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence key stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in the Health Cover and insurance domain is desirable but not mandatory.
Qualification
- A relevant degree in the IT industry is mandatory.
- Certification in Relevant Technologies is required.
