Team members have strong expertise in designing and implementing high quality integrated information systems and applications. Furthermore, the scientific background of the team is justified by several publications (>50) in international conferences and journals.
Job Summary for Senior AI Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer. You will get the chance to share your experience and knowledge with your colleagues in Heraklion and abroad and help to realize our ambition: “order from chaos”.
Qualifications
- 3+ years working experience in ML/AI engineering
- Strong Python + ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) or Java
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (RAG/agents/fine-tuning) plus deep expertise in prompting (prompt patterns, tool calling, guardrails, structured prompting).
- Practical knowledge of LLM evaluation (quality, safety, hallucinations, regressions) and mitigation approaches.
- Experience with APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and deployment (Docker/Kubernetes and/or cloud).
