Work Arrangement
This role operates on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week (Monday–Thursday) to foster creativity, innovation, communication, and relationship-building.
Position Overview
The Student Finance Processing Analyst acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies to manage non-TIV funding on student accounts. The role supports student success with accurate and responsive processing of non-TIV aid, while upholding Adtalem's TEACH values and fostering a culture of CARE.
Responsibilities
- Support internal customers and external agencies via email, phone, Salesforce, and web conferencing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve student debt/balance concerns.
- Utilize systems to process Direct Bill, VA, and/or account receivable with accuracy.
- Post and review payment records including EFT, check, and credit transactions.
- Demonstrate understanding of compliance and regulatory standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within a dynamic environment.
- Participate in trainings to maintain system access for vendors, federal agencies, and banking or loan systems.
- Collaborate using strong knowledge of military, finance, and higher education policies.
- Engage in team meetings, special projects, and other assigned duties.
- Perform proactive reconciliation and follow-up to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain a quality assurance accuracy rating of 95% or above.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and leadership.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or related experience preferred.
- High level of interpersonal, communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Critical thinking ability is required.
- Knowledge of higher education, military regulation, or accounts receivable is a plus.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and database software.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is between $17.15 and $27.36 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401k Retirement Program with 6% employer match, 15 paid vacation days, 12 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays.
