Job Description
The Remote Install Specialist role supports installation and servicing of customer alarm equipment while delivering an award-winning customer experience from a remote work environment. You will provide over-the-phone assistance, troubleshooting, and installation guidance via scheduled appointments to new and existing ADT customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide installation assistance via scheduled outbound calls.
- Install a wide range of ADT products and services.
- Communicate complex issues and resolutions clearly.
- Educate customers on system functionality.
- Identify and offer additional security and home automation solutions.
- Address technical issues and coordinate with Remote Service or Field partners.
Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college credits or a degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; technical support preferred.
- Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, selling skills, and ability to multitask.
- Home security systems technician experience highly preferred.
- Must have a quiet, private work area with adequate internet bandwidth.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $16.66 - $21.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with company match, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, paid time off, and 6 paid holidays. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in the first year with increasing accrual rates thereafter.
