Lead Technical Product Manager

We are looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager with a strong technical focus to drive the strategic vision and development of two areas of our Nextgen Payroll platform. This role requires a hands-on approach to UX design, deep technical engagement, and a vision for building a robust, scalable platform. You will play a critical role in gathering user feedback, tracking usage metrics, and ensuring the platform evolves to meet both business and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain a scalable platform architecture.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback and usage metrics.
  • Collaborate on hands-on UX design for seamless experiences.
  • Conduct technical discussions with engineering teams.
  • Manage product grooming, feature backlog, and roadmaps.
  • Oversee sprint preplanning and JIRA workflows.
  • Prioritize features using data-driven decisions.

Skills Required:

  • Strong platform as a service knowledge, APIs, and scalability principles.
  • Hands-on UX design expertise.
  • Ability to track data and perform analytics.
  • Experience in product grooming, sprint planning, and roadmap development.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple scrum teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of product management experience with technical platforms and UX design focus.
  • Payroll domain experience.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and software development processes.
  • Relevant certifications in payroll fundamentals and product management.
