About the Role
The Software Engineer in Test Level 4 will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, managing a team of QEs, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure outstanding software experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Playwright Automation: Develop and scale automated test suites, build testing infrastructure, drive best practices, and troubleshoot test failures.
- Quality Leadership & Strategy: Lead quality engineering efforts, design comprehensive test plans, drive standardization and cross-domain testing strategies.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between QE, product, development, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on quality priorities.
Requirements
Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering and quality engineering with leadership. Proven expertise in Playwright for modern web end-to-end testing and strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript. Experience in agile environments, CI/CD tools, debugging, and performance testing tools like Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Argo, Jenkins, test reporting tools, enterprise-level applications, and Adobe products. Recognized technical leadership, mentoring skills, and solid analytical and problem-solving abilities are also a plus.

Additional Information
