Purpose & Overall Relevance

The Sales Assistant plays a key role in achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs by building emotional connections with customers and embodying brand values.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass store and individual targets using all available resources.
  • Exceed customer expectations while driving sales and brand awareness.
  • Establish emotional connections by acting as a passionate brand ambassador.
  • Apply seasonal product knowledge to enhance customer service.
  • Maintain an attractive, organized store with proper visual merchandising.
  • Follow store rules and ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Assist in merchandise replenishment and monitor stock levels.
  • Support new employee onboarding and collaborate with team members.
  • Complete required training programs and demonstrate continuous learning.
  • Manage cash handling and complete accurate cash register closures.
  • Facilitate online order processes such as Endless Aisle, Click & Collect, and Ship from Store.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0-3 years retail experience; sales training is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in English with fundamental math and language skills.
