Your Role as Senior Account Manager Defense Industries
As a Senior Account Manager Defense Industries, you will be responsible for managing a key account, presenting the complete adesso Group portfolio, and driving growth within the defense sector. This involves strategic development, new business generation, and managing the entire acquisition process from presentation to contract negotiation.
- Client Responsibility: Take ownership of a key account, presenting adesso Group's full portfolio including strategy consulting, IT consulting, software development, industry solution implementation, and application management.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a targeted strategy to drive customer growth.
- New Business: Identify new sales opportunities and actively generate business in consulting and software projects.
- Acquisition Process: Manage the entire acquisition process from presentation and proposal creation to contract negotiations.
- Network Cultivation: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the defense industry.
- Sales Success: Utilize your experience to identify and successfully close sales opportunities.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in business informatics or industrial engineering, coupled with significant experience in IT sales and a deep understanding of the defense industry.
- Education: Successfully completed a degree in Business Informatics or Industrial Engineering, or possess a comparable qualification.
- Professional Experience: At least five years of experience in sales of consulting services and software projects.
- Industry Knowledge: Possess profound knowledge and experience within the defense industry.
- Contacts: Excellent, reliable contacts with decision-makers in the industry.
- Sales Talent: Demonstrate strong acquisition and closing skills, along with initiative and high implementation capability.
- Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills for confident communication.
