SAP IS-U Developer

About the Role

As an SAP IS-U Developer at adesso business consulting AG, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing SAP IS-U solutions. You will work with core IS-U processes such as billing, invoicing, device management, and customer service, leveraging ABAP and ABAP OO. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting SAP IS-U implementation projects and providing development support in live environments, including AMS and long-term support. You will contribute to solutions running on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA for Utilities, embracing modern SAP development paradigms. A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with international teams and clients, necessitating clear and proactive communication in a global project setting. You will also be expected to stay updated on SAP innovations within the utilities domain and apply best practices in your development work.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess hands-on experience with SAP IS-U development and a solid understanding of utility-specific processes. Technical expertise in ABAP and ABAP OO, including enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and custom IS-U developments, is essential. A strong understanding of utility business processes such as metering, billing, invoicing, and customer service is required. You should have several years of experience in software development, encompassing technical analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments is expected. A university degree in IT, fluent German, and preferably conversational English skills are also necessary.
