Overview
Adecco is recruiting an IAM Architect for a 2-year contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON. This role is remote for the duration of the contract and requires a valid Secret Level Security Clearance or eligibility for one.
Responsibilities
- Support design and implementation of PAM architecture in containerized environments.
- Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams on credential retrieval services using CyberArk CCP and/or Azure Key Vault.
- Define and document RBAC frameworks and integration patterns for internal applications.
- Modernize PAM platforms, focusing on CyberArk (on-premises and Privilege Cloud).
- Analyze existing CyberArk solutions to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and deploy CyberArk components including PSM, PVWA, PTA, CPM, Vault, and web sessions.
- Support secure authentication integration with Microsoft MFA, FIDO2, and certificate-based methods.
- Provide expertise in session recording, monitoring, and auditing for compliance.
- Assist with migration from on-premises CyberArk to Privilege Cloud where applicable.
- Develop repeatable integration patterns and architectural reference models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex PAM and IAM issues across cross-functional environments.
- Provide knowledge transfer, best practices, and recommendations to strengthen PAM governance.
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant IAM experience with a focus on PAM.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM solutions.
- Expertise with CyberArk components (Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA, CCP, web session management).
- Experience with CyberArk migration projects.
- Knowledge of secure authentication methods including SAML, OIDC, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and PKI.
- Understanding of privileged session recording, monitoring, and compliance.
- Ability to design and implement RBAC frameworks for internal applications.
- Technical knowledge of containers (Docker/Kubernetes), networking, REST/SOAP protocols, and API integration using JSON/XML.
- Strong documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
