Overview
We are partnering with a fast-paced, values-driven energy organization operating across upstream and midstream investments/production. This newly created role is designed to offload key Chief of Staff responsibilities and provide high-impact support across executive and board-level workstreams. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to early mid-career professional (2–5 years) who thrives in high-expectation environments and enjoys translating complex work into polished, executive-ready outputs. The pace is predictable and largely driven by board cadence, however, responsiveness is critical and turnaround times can be urgent.

- Partner with leaders across business units to gather insights and align on strategic priorities.
- Track and escalate cross-functional risks/issues that require executive attention.
- Serve as a bridge between executive leadership and the broader organization.
Project Management & Process Improvement
- Support Strategic Realization Office initiatives with project planning, milestones, RAID logs, and accountability follow-up.
- Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows using tools, templates, and standardized processes.
- Step in on urgent priorities requiring rapid turnaround and executive polish.
Research & Analysis
- Research industry trends, competitive moves, and emerging topics.
- Synthesize findings into concise briefs and data-driven recommendations.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or energy sector roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Engineering, Analytics, or similar strongly preferred).
- Strong track record producing executive-level presentations, analyses, and briefing materials.
- Advanced PowerPoint + strong proficiency in Excel / Smartsheet and Microsoft Office; familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams/SharePoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail; ability to simplify complex information for executives.
- Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliverables under deadline pressure.
- High discretion/confidentiality and mature professional judgment.
- Humble, collaborative, and able to influence without authority.
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally and supporting board members (international stakeholders).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in natural gas, upstream, midstream, power generation, or CCUS sectors.
- Exposure to public company governance, investor relations, and/or board-level deliverables.
- Prior experience in a Chief of Staff, CEO Office, or strategic support function.
- Thoughtful use of AI tools (a plus) with strong quality control and zero “AI-pattern” errors.
